Cesar Chavez System

The Diversity Department at California State University, Chico wanted a poster-flyer system created that commemorated Cesar Chavez and his vast accomplishments. The purpose of this system was to prompt students to honor the holiday and celebrate the day respectfully. The Diversity Department wanted Cesar Chavez’s name and a photo of him to be the prominent focus of the piece. I made the word ‘Chavez’ and his photograph the most eye-catching aspects of the poster so viewers understand the poster’s purpose even if they only gave it a quick glance.
